Hornsea and Withernsea are on the Holderness Coast in East Yorkshire. Both developed into small seaside towns, and considering the relative size of these resorts, a surprising number of railway posters were produced.
 
This book provides a record of the striking posters which were produced to attract holidaymakers to the seaside resorts of Hornsea and Withernsea, and gives a brief history of the railways and the development of these two small towns into Seaside Resorts.
